Thud…………….. then a deafening blood curdling scream. I lie in my bed to scared to get out, about ten minutes after I finally pick up my courage and get out of bed slowly and quietly I walk to the stairs and I look down… I can't believe my eyes I was unsure of what to do, Slowly I walk down the stairs just looking I must have been there for about half an hour and then dad comes to the top of the stairs he runs to her, gives her one look and runs to the phone while he’s talking, tears trickle down his face all I hear is “yes, were 84 Kate rd” she’s lying down blood on her face, blood on her arms her legs, she was dead my mum was dead. A tear ran down my cheek followed by more and more. I look up oh no Max my brother whose 12 ,Haley ten and Jess six are looking down at mum, her blue eyes twinkle, her brown hair flows across her body, her face is red, red with blood. I look up again they are crying.
Silence stayed in the room until Jess sobbed
“ what happened to mummy?”
Dad signals to come down here, there we were in a group hug. Knock,knock dad scattered to the door the police come in Max, Haley ,Jess and I went upstairs I told Max, Haley and Jess what had happened. Then I got called down stairs by police .
“Well all I heard was a thud and a stream of my mums I stayed in my room for about 10 minutes before I came down stairs then I just stood there, I just couldn't move then Dad comes in”
“Well it looks like the the murder took with whatever he/she hit your mum with,” said Sargent Blaketon
I nod. I watch them exam the body and a man comes in with a suitcase he's the forensic person and he quietly says I think it from a screw driver, then he gets closer and has a closer look as I go up stairs and he says It looks like it from a… and I didn't hear. I start writing who hates my mum I work on it for ages and all I can come up with is tuffy the next door neighbors dog. I go back down stairs it's 4am, I go down to dad and see that the police is still here I go stand by dad and once again I start crying I start trying to say
“dad what are we going to do now” he sighs and shrugs
“I don't know Leah, I don't know.” Why don’t you go to bed like Max,Haley and Jess. I do.
I wake up at 7:00 and go down stairs dads down their drinking his flat white. Max comes downstairs followed by Haley and Jess we sit down
dad says ok we're moving to Wellington I open my mouth I scream no I can't I will lose my friends, I will lose being in the top hockey team the top football team and will not be able to dance at my studio anymore. Dad sights it's better for the family. I breath out haaaaaa my life is ruined!!
Then Max blurts out HAVE THEY FOUND THE MURDER I sigh,

Why Why Why I say!
Dad sights they're still figuring it out. “Ok so we have to get out of the house so they can try find the murder, after they are done with the house we will move to Wellington, and I have told the school and however needs to know about us moving, so until we can touch anything we are going to a hotel so go pack some clothes and I will pack food and then we are off to the hotel. He grabs a plastic bag and takes it to the washing machine.
We all go upstairs and pack after I've finished I go into dads room to ask if he wants any help but there he was with a crowbar, with blood on it, it was dry blood I turn back then dad says I warn you Leah I warn you! I run but I can't even breath my mouth is watering my eyes are going red. What do I do? I ran to Jess’s room there she was crying in a little bundle I ran to her and give her a hug then I see it, her doll her favorite doll is hanging by rope I take a breath then take her hand we move into Haley room there she was her eyes red… and there was her teddy bears head I take their hands I go to Max's room and he was there keeping his tears tucked away. Dad would have done this when I was packing I thought.
It was dad he says I nod I know, we need to really quickly go to the police I say as we are running to the stairs.
We run down the stairs and there he was at the top of the stairs,
Max says “we know it was you daddy.”
He replied with a grin yes Yes I killed your Mum … now it's your turn to be lying on the floor” “I warned you Leah I did warn you didn't I”, We all scream he has the crowbar in his hand he starts to run, we run but Jess is not fast enough he grabs her and says hahaha and lifts up the crowbar everyone screams the door slams open the police are there holding up guns dad freezes they say drop the weapon, he doesn't Jess looks at him and in an instant she bites him he screams a little then Jess runs he swings at her and get her in the ribs I scream she screams I look at her just like mum her eyes were watering, her blue eyes twinkled and her blond hair swirls it like the world has gone to slow motion she falls to the ground screaming dad lifts up the crowbar again and he's aiming for her head at last minute a gunshot is fired right in the leg he falls. Jess stays where she is she can't move she is in awful pain I run to her I say it's alright and I give a hug. Dads is in handcuffs I asked the police how they knew and they said in mums fingernail there was a little bit of dads hair, we have been looking for your dad quit a while he broke out of jail and then he dyed his hair and did other thing to prevent us knowing who he is, I ask dad why and he said I never liked no one it was to help me to go undercover so the police wouldn't know but it got too much I hated living here. My plan would have worked if it wasn't for you. After all these years 14 years he has been acting all goody good, all lovey but he is just a murder a stuck up man who users people in a in stink I kick him in the face and yes I can kick that high I am a dancer.We go to the hospital with Jess she has a crushed a rib so we might be here for a while.
Dad's in jail and were living at my aunt's, Jess is better It's has been hard getting over the things that have happened we are left with no mum or dad I am now the mum basically I do everything for them as my aunt works full time and my uncle is away at the moment. So this has happened but I'm focusing on the future not the past.
